Meerlanden drives on its own vegetable, fruit and garden (VFG) waste. VFG is collected from residents in the Haarlemmermeer region. De Meerlanden turns VFG into Biogas in the VFG waste processing installation. De Meerlanden collection vehicles then drive climate-neutral on the VFG it has collected.
