Thursday afternoon at around 4.15 pm, were several emergency vehicles, among them a lifeliner, alarmed for a person which needed to be rescueded out of the water. 
The lifeliner landed behind a field along the Bosweg, behind the Marriott hotel in the Haarlemmermeerse bos.
The victim has been transported to the hospital.
What happened is unknown.
Hoofddorp, Netherlands – The NS staff send off, this morning, an eardeafening sound. Exactly at 9:00, the trains all over the Netherlands were honking to show their protest against the ongoing violence against the train staff. 
On the night of Thursday to Friday a headconductress of NS was on the train from Schiphol to Hoofddorp, where she got beaten so hard by a passenger that she ended up in the hospital with serieus injuries. On Saturday, a conducter in Helmond got kicked and spit on.
The NS and the trade union wants the politics to take serious measures.

Heemstede – on Saturday 3 may 2014 a colorful flower-decorated parade slowly moves through the bulb region. This year was the 67th Edition. The parade started at 9.30 am from the Wilhelmina boulevard in Noordwijk. Along the 42 kilometre route to Haarlem were hundreds of thousands of visitors. Steam pumping station Museum Halfweg is the oldest and largest still operational steam-powered paddle-wheel pumping station in the world.
