Open from:

1 march intill  1 november:

tuesday  untill friday from  10.00  – 12.30 hr and 13.00 – 17.00 hr;

saturday  and sunday from 10.00 hr – 17.00 hr.

1 november untill 1 march:

tuesday  untill friday from  10.00  – 12.30 hr  and 13.00  – 16.30 uur;

saturday  and sunday from 10.00 hr – 16.30 hr.

december and january.

saturday  and Sunday closed

The childeren’s farm is closed at: christmas, easter, whitsunday, newyearsday , liberation day  (the 5th of may)  and Kingsday.

King opens ‘Sport Complex Koning Willem-Alexander’ at Hoofddorp [video]

SKWAHis Majesty King Willem-Alexander of the Netherlands officially opened the Sportcomplex named after him Koning Willem-Alexander  in Hoofddorp.

His Majesty the King arrived about 16:00 pm in his car, the extended Audi A8.

audi A8 Koning Willem AlexanderThe king opened the Sports Complex by pulling a large blue ribbon of the facade.

The Sports Complex Koning Willem-Alexander (skwa) allows two competition pools, a leisure pool, a sports hall and a gymnastics center. The Sports Complex is designed for both amateur and professional athletes.

Storm in The Netherlands [video]

HOOFDDORP –  Hundreds of reports of storm damages are coming from the national monitoring centre. But it is not only the firefighters who went forth to a fallen tree or for securing a dangerous situation. This was well demonstrated in Hoofddorp.

At Hoofddorp is around 10.30 a large tree with roots blown out of the ground. The tree fell on a streetlight and blocked the way. Employees of the Water Wolf and AMgroep were busy with the removal of the tree and securing this dangerous situation. Imtech company took the electricity from the broken lamp and so she could be safely removed.
