Hoofddorp – Saturday afternoon at the ‘Raadhuisplein’ Square there was a cozy atmosphere in Winterland Hoofddorp. Around 17:00 hours, hundreds of people gathered for a giant Christmas tree.The tree has a length of 12 meters. The Christmas tree was so beautiful that Santa was landed to take a look. Suddenly we heard celestial sounds. Ten beautiful violin playing angels came closer and closer. For the Christmas tree they played beautiful Christmas songs. Later, an angel went up and hung out with her wand high next to the top of the Christmas tree. She hit the tree with her wand, and then went hundreds of lights illuminate.

Badhoevedorp – Today there is history written under the A9 viaduct at Sloterweg. Today was the official start for the rerouting of the A9 motorway. This highway runs straight through Badhoevedorp. By 2018 is the A9 highway along the village Badhoevedorp. Circus ‘Acrobatico’ climbed to each other and pulled a cloth from the viaduct and so revealed an Artist’s impression. HOOFDDORP – Hundreds of reports of storm damages are coming from the national monitoring centre. But it is not only the firefighters who went forth to a fallen tree or for securing a dangerous situation. This was well demonstrated in Hoofddorp.
At Hoofddorp is around 10.30 a large tree with roots blown out of the ground. The tree fell on a streetlight and blocked the way. Employees of the Water Wolf and AMgroep were busy with the removal of the tree and securing this dangerous situation. Imtech company took the electricity from the broken lamp and so she could be safely removed.
